I have spent the last 10 years working with textbooks like Progressive English and First aid in English, noting that First aid in English has a grammar-based text and Story books graded from A to F which have questions on related passages included. I have also worked with Bond English textbooks as well. While preparing the Basic 6 class of Sureville Montessori School for their respective Common Entrance exams, I had to teach English Language. Working as a private tutor, I have prepared students for English Language exams especially the Common Entrance exams. Through it all, I have come to realise that reading and writing go together,literally, and that The English Language Dictionary is a more important book than we realise. I do not mind starting with Queen primer with a child if such a child's level is that bad.Let me also emphasize that English Language is such a subject that is learned best with a pool of textbooks.
