1. Manual Assessment
First of all, we manually assess every tutor applicant as well as schedule interviews to ensure they meet our high standards in personality and communication; only those who are successful can become tutors.
For most subjects like academics, languages, music, various exams and even skills like Public Speaking, Programming, Swimming etc., tutors have to pass standard competency, one-time tests before they can teach those subjects.
And for non-testable subjects like Bead-making, Dance, Photography etc., tutors write about their experience and teaching styles, and also upload samples of their work which is reviewed by our quality team. If the review is negative, then they are not allowed to teach the subject.
2. Continuous Evaluation
We also continuously evaluate tutors to ensure top quality based on their behaviour and activities on the site, as well as their performance with previous clients – and only the high-performers are allowed to continue. Tutors whose ratings fall below 3.5 can no longer continue tutoring.
Clients review tutors after each lesson so that the community can learn more from their experience. We also openly publish reviews from previous clients for you to see before hiring.
