Service fees: Service fees are calculated from the booking subtotal. The subtotal is the complete price of the booking before service fees have been added, and is calculated based on the tutor’s price and the total hours booked. If you alter your booking details, the service fees adjust according to the new subtotal.
Client service fee: we add a 3-5% service fee to client payments every time a booking is made to cover the cost of processing the booking.
The exact percentage depends on the subtotal of the booking. The higher the subtotal, the lower the percentage so you can save money when booking long lessons.
Bookings below ₦20,000 apply a 5% service fee, bookings between ₦20,000 and ₦50,000 apply a 4% service fee, and those above ₦50,000 apply a 3% service fee. You will see the exact amount in the price breakdown on the checkout page before you confirm and pay.
We only charge the service fee once your booking is made. If you cancel a booking as a client, the service fee is non-refundable.
Tutor service fee: we deduct a 35-15% service fee from tutor earnings every time a lesson is completed for any of your subjects. This covers the cost of running the site, marketing and providing customer support.

Our system only processes whole numbers, and all fees are rounded to the nearest whole amount.
